Try someone else: Amitabh Bachchan's epic response on his Twitter account getting hacked

Amitabh Bachchan doesn't feel Monday morning blues, and we have proof.
Early on Monday morning, the actor tweeted that his Twitter account had been hacked. For Bachchan, that would be quite a travesty. He numbers his tweets, he calls his Twitter followers his Extended Family, so suffice it to say that he is quite happily active on the micr0-blogging website.
However, the tweet reveals that upon founding himself following sex sites, Bachchan realised that his account was hacked. But instead of being perturbed, he had the best response:
This is perhaps the most recent instance of a celeb's account getting hacked in India, after Karan Johar and Kamal R Khan's account were hacked in 2012.
Karan Johar had tweeted that his account was sending random Direct Messages to people on his behalf, while KRK's twitter feed has a slew of lewd messages.
We can safely say that Amitabh Bachchan's "Try someone else buddy, I don't need this" is one of the best responses to learning that your account has been hacked. Well done, sir!

Fans request Amitabh Bachchan not to promote the Mulayam Singh Yadav biopic

Fans of megastar Amitabh Bachchan have urged him not to promote the upcoming biopic of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav because of the latter's remarks on rape survivors.

Big B Feels the Nostalgia on the 40th Anniversary of Sholay

Big B Feels the Nostalgia on the 40th Anniversary of Sholay

Cult classic film Sholay celebrated its 40th anniversary yesterday. Upheld as an example of excellence in the art of filmmaking, Sholay is the film that launched the careers of some of Bollywood's mega stars today.
Reminiscing about the film, superstar Amitabh Bachchan says, "When I first heard the script of Sholay I told Salim-Javed (the scripwriters) 'I want to do the role of Gabbar'. But Ramesh Sippy (the director) decided to cast me as Jai."
A timesofindia.com article stated that Danny Denzongpa was signed for the role of Gabbar but due to date issues things did not work out and later Amjad Khan was finalised after his name was suggested by Salim- Javed. Khan as Gabbar, the notorious and feared dacoit of the epic film, which turned 40 this week, put the actor in a different league among on-screen villains. According to reports at that time, after Khan bagged the 1975 film, there were apprehensions whether he will be able to pull off the role of Gabbar convincingly. But Khan put up such a power-packed performance that the character of Gabbar has been forever etched in the minds of moviegoers.
Big B however begs to differ on the topic. He says that he was always convinced of Khan's abilities as an actor. He says, "I never thought he (Amjad Khan) would not be able to do it. It was his voice... as Gabbar...the dialogues became famous."
The 72-year old star remembers with nostalgia, "I had a great equation with him. He used to sarcastically call me 'Shorty'. Whenever we used to walk on the sets people used to call us 'Broad' (Khan) and 'Shorty' (Big B)."

Amitabh Bachchan reveals a secret from 'Sholay' which you didn't know!

Iconic 'Sholay' character Jai played by Amitabh Bachchan almost had a happy ending with plans made to reshoot the climax scene of the legendary film which saw his tragic end.

The plans were being finalised to improve the box office prospects of the film, which celebrates its 40th anniversary tomorrow, so that the fans were not robbed of a happy ending when Bachchan's Jai dies dramatically in the film's climax.

This was recalled by the 72-year-old actor himself while taking to reporters here today. Despite a stellar star cast, huge production, world class action sequences and a script by Bollywood's most saleable writers, "Sholay"  faltered at the box office upon its release on August 15, 1975, prompting the film makers to think of altering the tragic ending.

"We discussed what could be done with the film so that it does better. Many people felt that audience was unhappy with my death in the film. There were many sequences in 'Sholay' which were attractive. One was widow remarriage. They felt just when the woman was getting a better life, we removed that with my death," Bachchan said.

The actor, who had asked his co-star Dharmendra to put in a good word for him with Ramesh Sippy to get Jai's role, said they were all set to reshoot the climax but it was the director, who still wanted to wait despite the movie's initial disaster and as they say, rest is history. Dharmendra played the character of 'Veeru' who with 'Jai' set the perfect example of friendship.
